Bethany Meadows is the founder and CEO of Vertical Solutions Media, where creativity and integrity drive everything she does. With more than 30 years of marketing experience, Bethany launched her business in 2008 after a life-changing decision to homeschool her five kids following a divorce. She knew that combining her corporate marketing expertise with her entrepreneurial spirit could give her the flexibility she needed and allow her to help businesses grow.
Since then, Bethany has built Vertical Solutions Media into a thriving agency that helps small businesses and financial service organizations succeed with creative, customized marketing strategies. She’s also the host of the Time to Thrive podcast, designed to inspire and equip business owners with the tools they need to reach their goals.
Bethany’s story of resilience and her dedication to doing what’s best for her clients have made her a trusted partner and mentor to businesses of all sizes. Her passion for helping businesses stand out in crowded markets continues to drive her success.

For the past 30 years, Ann Marie has spent her days refining the written word. As a writer and editor, she is passionate about making sure that every comma is in the right place, copy is grammatically correct and edited for maximum strength. Her passions include sharing people’s stories, enjoying time with husband Todd and their two adult daughters, exercising and spending as much time outside as possible.
Ellen Sheumaker
VP, Creative Director
Ellen became interested in graphic design as a high school senior. That interest has taken her career in many trajectories, working with a wide variety of clients to produce work that reflects their ideas in images. She cares deeply about what she produces and loves exceeding her clients’ expectations—which she does every day. Ellen loves being with her husband Scott and three children, but is still working on achieving a minimalistic lifestyle. Â
Whitt Sheumaker
Marketing Manager
Whitt is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in English and minors in Media and Film Studies and Religion. He is a talented copywriter, designer and in video production. As an account manager, he blends big-picture strategy with hands-on support to help clients bring their ideas to life. With a passion for storytelling and a down-to-earth approach, Whitt is dedicated to making marketing simple, effective and fun.
