For those experiencing hunger right now, time matters. A direct donation allows the food bank to purchase high-need items quickly and distribute them where they’re needed most. Even a small gift can fill a shelf, a pantry or a child’s plate.

Step-by-Step Guide:

Sign Up Your Drive
Complete a quick form to register your food drive team. -
Choose Your Collection Type
Decide if you’ll collect non-perishable food items, monetary donations, or both. We will provide custom flyers for your team and recommended food lists to help guide donors. -
Promote and Share
Use our ready-to-go promotion kit to spread the word through email, social media, and local networks. The more people know, the greater the impact. -
Deliver or Schedule Pickup
Once your drive is complete, you can drop off donations at one of the listed locations or request a pickup for larger collections. -
Celebrate and Inspire
Share photos and results with us to highlight your impact and inspire others to join in. Use #foodcrisisrapidresponse2025 on your posts. You can also tag the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama using @feedingAL.
